Trudy was a wonderful addition to our wedding party. She has a very calming way. She got to know us so she could craft the ceremony for our individuality. The sample vows were really useful with room to make them our own. I wouldn’t have  known where to start. Trudy was willing to stand with us in the rain because we really wanted to be married on the beach. Fortunately the weather was perfect but it was comforting to know she was willing. We so appreciated Trudy’s guidance and friendly manner that we asked her to join us for our celebratory drinks and were very pleased when she accepted. I would highly recommend her as a celebrant.

It was such a beautiful afternoon, and we are so grateful to Trudy for making our ceremony both personal and magical.   Trudy was able to organise our ceremony with very little face-to-face contact from us because we live in Cairns. In total we had one initial meeting and a rehearsal meeting, both where we felt comfortable, relaxed and confident that our day would be unforgettable. She created a warm, intimate, peaceful and personal ceremony for us and even helped with our vows and calming some pre-wedding nerves before the big day! Having known Trudy for a while as a friend, there could be no more perfect person to help us with our wedding. Her warm and gentle nature helped to relax us while her professional expertise guided us. Our wedding was a more family orientated affair having rented a beautiful house in the Tallai with a stunning outlook of the Gold Coast Skyline and Hinze Dam. The setup of the venue was quite extensive and Trudy assisted with the ceremonial area directing placements as would best suit the proceedings of the day. Now as you can imagine the lead up to the big event is quite a stressful one and having that extra help was a God-send. She ensures a smooth running start to finish, from the rehearsal ceremony right through to the signing.
Having no idea what a ceremony entailed, her information booklet with her advice helped in creating a very personal and most magical ceremony, that in the end went absolutely perfectly. We thank you Trudy, from the bottom of our hearts for a very special day. With much love and appreciation.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Fellini Ristorante on the Gold Coast overlooking the Broadwater on dusk in December 2007. The evening was absolutely perfect, made all the more magical with Trudy's assistance, organization & delivery of the marriage ceremony. At our initial meeting with Trudy we were unsure how we wanted our vows and ceremony except that we had our minds set on something very basic and simple. After meeting with Trudy we came away with a booklet of sample ceremonies, vows & readings and a layout which helped us build our most minimal vows into something incredibly special, meaningful and very personal to us both. Trudy worked with us all the way to the big day, assisting us and offering advice when requested and proved to be an invaluable guide during the ceremony, quietly leading us and directing us through our various stages of the ceremony to the signing of the marriage register and our presentation as man and wife. Trudy professionally managed the ceremony with the right amount of intensity throughout the entire process, from our first meetings through to the big day. Trudy was there for us when we needed her, always ready with information, soft and gentle with her approach, fostering warmth and comfort in us all - which was helpful approaching the ceremony! - at the same time ready with the strength required to be our guide and lead us to the next level, without losing touch of the spiritual and precious nature of our wedding day. Trudy was a wonderful choice as our celebrant and we are so thankful that she was available for us and that we were able to share our special day with her.  It was a far more joyous and beautiful occasion with her care and involvement. We were incredibly happy with our wedding, both ourselves and our guests had a wonderfully relaxed evening - in fact it was everything & more than we had imagined - it was absolutely perfect.

From what I have heard, most people say that despite all the planning, their ceremony was a 'blur'.  That certainly wasn't the case for us. I was worried that I would feel nervous in front of all of our family and friends, but on the day it felt like it was just the two of us.  I remember every detail and felt like we got to say all the things we wanted to say.  It really was perfect.  Trudy was so relaxed and supportive and just seemed to understand exactly what we wanted.  She was able to guide us through so I knew that I didn't have to worry about being nervous or forgetting what I wanted to say.  But she guided us so gently that the ceremony was able to be very personal and intimate as well. We just felt that it was important to have someone with us who we felt comfortable with; and someone who understood.

She cared for our ceremony - even to the point to give us the time once I arrived on the beach to stop, take a breathe, and enjoy the moment.  She then proceeded with our ceremony in what many has described to us as 'the most magical ceremony they have ever seen'.  We had an intimate wedding on the beach… it was Trudy's influence that put the magic in the air.

From our initial meeting Trudy showed that she was a kind, warm person who genuinely cared about all aspects of our wellbeing and ceremony requirements. Trudy had put together great ceremony samples to assist us in designing a ceremony that was perfect for us. Trudy assessed and 'read' our needs both as a couple and as individuals. We were looking for a celebrant that was down to earth and modern and someone that we felt comfortable with.  We were sure that we wanted a ceremony that was simple and represented who we were as a couple.  A friend recommended Trudy and after meeting her there was no hesitation that she was the right one, no need to shop around.  She was very understanding and knew instinctively what we were after from our ceremony.  She was very friendly and we could have a laugh with her so there was never any stress in organising our ceremony.  It was probably one of the easiest parts to organise thanks to Trudy.
